How to be a Tattoo Artist By Chess McDoogle Platinum Quality Author
Learning how to be a tattoo artist can be challenging as there isn't exactly a university or trade school to attend and learn from. Here are some inexpensive ways to begin to learn the trade and art of tattooing.
1. Go to the Source. One of the best ways to learn how to be a tattoo artist is to go to the source and ask. You can gain a wealth of knowledge on how to learn the trade by going to a parlor and simply asking the artists how they first learned. There is usually downtime in tattoo parlors and the artists will be willing to tell you how they got started. Chances are you will get a variety of different answers, both unique and informative and they will open up new insights on how you can learn yourself.
2. Practice on fruit. Many tattoo artists got started by actually practicing tattooing simple designs on fruit. It's a decent way to get familiar with the equipment and see if it's something you can pick up and feel comfortable with. You'll have to get access to some equipment, or else pick up an inexpensive starter kit and go to work. Once you get better and more comfortable, and most importantly, confident that you can tattoo, then you can move on to giving your friends free tattoos for further practice!
3. Get a Tattoo Book. A great way to learn how to be a tattoo artist is by practicing designs in a good tattoo book. From the sketching of these designs to practicing execution, by looking at and studying really great designs you can non only become inspired to step your game up, but you'll have actual designs to practice creating, and from their you can learn your own strengths, weaknesses, and personal style.
Here's a great tattoo book and collection to begin learning and studying the different tattoo designs. See http://tattoo-book.info You can see the best of the best, become inspired, and begin practicing mastering the greats. Check out http://tattoo-book.info and thanks for reading.

Pink says she "believes in karma".
The 'Stupid Girls' singer - who announced she is divorcing husband Carey Hart earlier this year - has revealed her favourite tattoo is one which says, 'What comes around goes around', because it reflects her perspective on life.
She said: "It's my only truth that never changes. I believe in karma. I believe that it comes around in both ways.
"I've watched really good people have really hard times and then all of a sudden something beautiful happens. I've seen instant karma and I've seen karma that I think takes lifetimes, and I've felt a lot of it."
Pink - who has a series of tattoos all over her body - also revealed to Inked magazine that the bows on the back of her thighs were a "drunken mistake".
Pink recently revealed she hopes turning 30 next September will provide her with even more insight into people.
She said: "I am not really angry at the world. I have let a lot more love in. I feel once you are 30, once your Saturn returns, the world puts you right side up again and gives you a pair of glasses so you can see everything clearer."

Tattoo Gifts - Get Your Boyfriend a Tattoo For the Holidays! By Jessica Flowers Platinum Quality Author
If you are wondering what kind of gift your boyfriend for the holidays, think about getting him a tattoo! This is a unique gift which he'll be thrilled about. Tattoo gifts can also work well for your girlfriends as well. Here's how to go about giving a tattoo as a gift:
1. Tattoo Shop.
First research the different tattoo shops in your area. Pick one with a good rep. Maybe your boyfriend has some friends that have had work done at different parlors and they can assist you at choosing a good one.
2. Gift Certificate.
Once you find a shop, take a visit over and ask for a gift certificate. They will usually have gift certificates or gift cards available and set up and ready to go for the holidays. Ask how much tattoo work generally costs to get an idea on the amount. You don't have to get it right, especially if you think your boyfriend will get a large design or extensive work. Any amount can make a huge difference in contributing to a great tattoo design.
3. Tattoo Gallery Membership.
You're not done yet! There's another step that will make your tattoo gift truly unique. Along with a gift card to a parlor, you can get your boyfriend a membership to an online tattoo gallery. This way he will have access to thousands of high quality, top notch designs to choose from. They can be printed out and taken to the tattoo parlor to get placed on. It can be a lot of fun picking out a tattoo design together in an online tattoo gallery.
