Brad Pitt gets inked up

Since hooking up with smoking mama Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has added several tattoos to that yummy body of his. A viewer asked him a question about his tattoos on Oprah today, and Brad clammed up real quick (see the video below).

She specifically asked him about the “ice man” tattoo on his forearm. People believe this tattoo is an image of Ötzi the Iceman, Europe’s oldest natural mummy. Seems an odd thing to get a tattoo of, huh? Papa Pitt wouldn’t open up about it, simply saying that getting tattooed with someone you love is special and personal.

Something tells me the theory that the arm tattoo is of Ötzi the Iceman isn’t true. When Brad was spotted with this funky thing on his back, everyone was super sure that it was a map of the levees in New Orleans. Seemed plausible, as Brad does a lot of charity work down in the Big Easy, trying to restore it after the devastation of Katrina. However, lady love Angelina Jolie later came out and said it was really nothing more than a doodle.

He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like…I mean, it’s meaningful in that it’s us making angles and shapes out of each other’s body, that kind of a thing.

I think my favorite of his tattoos is the one on his stomach. It’s 06/4/75 written in Khmer, which happens to be Angelina’s birthday. I can’t say I totally understand this one, but I think it’s kind of sweet.
