A survey of online tattoo buyers reveals the most popular choices for body art this holiday season tend toward those with personal meaning and those with a religious theme.
Staten Island, NY (PRWEB) November 12, 2008 -- Tattoos are popular year round, but Victor Modafferi, co-owner of Bullseye Tattoos, recently surveyed his customers to find out what the holiday trends were for 2008 and discovered that heart tattoos, cross tattoos and those with personal meaning to the wearer definitely outpaced others during the final months of the year.
Modafferi explained, "Many of the customers who purchase tattoos on our website aren't simply looking for body art. They're looking for something symbolic. As Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around, they're thinking about their family and friends and the memory of loved ones who aren't with them any longer is very strong in their minds." Modafferi continued, "One way to memorialize these loved ones are with religious or cross tattoos along with names, dates or Bible verses. Others simply want to let the world know how strong their beliefs are, and Christmas is a natural time to think about getting a cross or religious tattoo."
